Day 01: Bagdogra – Phuentsholing
Arrive & Transfer to Phuentsholing Meet at Bagdogra/NJP, drive 4 hrs to Phuentsholing Complete immigration formalities and check-in Arrive & Transfer to Phuentsholing
Day 02: Transfer to Thimphu
Drive to Thimphu (approx. 1.5 hours). Visit the Tamchog Lhakhang, an iron bridge temple built in the 15th century. Stroll through Thimphu’s main street and explore the local craft bazaar. Overnight: Thimphu.
Day 03: Exploring the Capital (Thimphu)
Morning: Visit Buddha Dordenma (the massive Great Buddha Point) for a panoramic view of the valley.
Afternoon: Visit the National Memorial Chorten, where locals circumambulate daily. Head to the Motithang Takin Preserve to see the national animal.
Cultural Experience: Tour the School of 13 Arts and Crafts (Zorig Chusum) to see students practicing traditional painting and carving. Overnight: Thimphu.
